(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA • May 5, 2020)—Have you recently been laid off as a result of Covid-19 closures? Or, are you out of work due to life circumstances, and now want to draft a plan to return to work?
Delaware County Community College’s New Choices, a free program currently offered remotely by the College, can help.
Starting Tuesday, May 26th, over a four-week period, remote/online sessions will be offered to qualifying Pennsylvania residents experiencing unemployment. Join for twice weekly dynamic lessons on resume writing, interview skills and more, in which you will have the opportunity to consult with the instructor and your peers about your career goals while receiving support.
Weekly one-on-one check-ins are available with the instructor, a Licensed Social Worker with a background in counseling, to address your personal and professional needs, while educating you about helpful community resources.
