(Delaware County, PA • February 7, 2012)—Residents of Pennsylvania can take advantage of free General Educational Development (GED) classes and test preparation. This spring, classes will be held at the J. Lewis Crozer Library in Chester City (620 Engle Street, Chester, PA) on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Classes will include reading comprehension, writing, basic math skill review and GED test preparation.
Despite these difficult economic times, and amidst drastic cuts in funding, Delaware County Community College continues to offer these classes, which are funded through a grant by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, to support adult basic and literacy education.
Schedules and class request forms may be obtained at the J. Lewis Crozer Library or at any Delaware County Community College location.
Classes fill quickly, and seats are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. No walk-ins will be accepted. For additional information, call 484-237-6244.
