(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA • October 12, 2015)—In honor of Veterans Day, Delaware County Community College is hosting a Veterans Appreciation Lunch on Tuesday, November 10 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the STEM Center Lobby at the Marple Campus (901 South Media Line Road, Media, PA). The event is free and open to all who have served.
In addition to lunch, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a guided tour of the Marple Campus and hear about programs and services available to veterans. The College has a comprehensive curriculum that can provide education and training to people who have served in the military. These programs allow students to gain college credit that pairs with their military training and experience. Scholarship opportunities, financial aid services and career counseling are also available, and students may be able to receive academic credit for their military training or experience.
To reserve your spot at the Veterans Appreciation Lunch, please RSVP to Karen Kurzenski at 610-359-5141 or kkurzenski@dccc.edu.
