(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA)—Come check out the artistic talent of Delaware County Community College alumni at this year’s Alumni Artists Showcase. Sponsored by the Alumni Association and the Communications, Arts and Humanities Division, this free exhibit is on view June 6 through June 28, 2012, in the Marple Campus’ Art Gallery (Room 2305, Academic Building, 901 South Media Line Road, Media, PA).

The showcase kicks off Wednesday, June 6, with an opening reception from 5 to 8 p.m. Winners of the juried competition will be announced and honored, with prizes awarded for best in show as well as first and second runner-up. Winners will receive a monetary prize as well as a trophy. 

Until June 28, the three winning pieces will be on display along with more than 25 other works, including paintings, photography, ceramics, sculptures and other media. The winners were selected by judges Judy Fowler, Executive Director of the Media Arts Council, Mark Cole, an artist, art teacher and critic based in Chadds Ford, PA, and Meghan Cangi-Mammele, a Visual Art Teacher for Clearview Regional School District in Harrison, NJ.
