Google Scholar is a specialized search engine useful for research. In this session, we will explore Scholar's search features and discuss what to look for when evaluating search results.
After this workshop you will be able to:
1. Connect Google Scholar results to the College's databases to locate the full text of sources
2. Use Scholar's features to refine results and to save, cite, and find related sources.
This webinar requires advance registration. Sign up at Using Google Scholar for Research. Students who attend and complete three Library Services seminars or webinars will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement in Information Literacy. Also, participants have the opportunity to earn digital badges when attending Library Services workshops - more details available here.
