We humans get through the day making snap decisions, putting ourselves and each other into convenient either/or boxes. However, these easy definitions don’t fit for many of us, especially when it comes to sexuality and gender. This talk will explore those gray spaces and discuss ways that we can question categories and become more comfortable with identities and orientations that don’t fit neatly in an either/or system. All students and staff are welcome. Counts as one Safe Space Ally training session for College employees.
Presenter: Mick Teti-Beaudin, Assistant Professor of English
