Registration for the clinic will open Wednesday, September 6 and run through Tuesday, September 19. Paralegal students, under the supervision of attorneys from the Legal Aid of Southeast Pennsylvania, will be assisting students, staff, and residents of Chester and Delaware Counties to determine whether they are eligible to have certain prior arrests or convictions expunged or sealed from one's record.
Having one's criminal record expunged refers to removing certain offenses from a person's record. Please note that in some instances, certain convictions cannot be expunged and will remain on the record. However, these same convictions may be sealed from the general public. If you know of a student or staff member that could benefit from this service, please let him or her know about this clinic.
For more information, or to register, please contact Keeley Mitchell, Director of Paralegal Studies at 610.359.5261 or KMitchellWallace@dccc.edu
