DCCC has several options for students to hit the ground running with AI. These include for-credit programs, granting two different AI certificates, as well as noncredit programs for those looking to quickly add AI familiarity to their professional skill set.

The options include:

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) Foundations, Certificate of Competency (AIF):The AIF Certificate is a three-course program designed to equip students with the knowledge necessary to understand AI technologies in various fields, such as art, healthcare, finance, manufacturing, and security. The courses cover fundamental concepts and techniques of AI, as well as its practical applications and ethical considerations. This certificate is suitable for learners with diverse educational backgrounds and career aspirations who want a concise introduction to AI and its ethical considerations.
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) Specialist, Certificate of Competency (AIS): The AIS Certificate is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand, develop, and apply AI technologies in various fields, such as art, healthcare, finance, manufacturing, and security.
