Transfer for International Students
Friday, October 27 | 1:25-2:20 p.m.

This workshop will provide answers for International Students about the requirements needed to transfer to a four-year college or university in the United States. Staff from the Transfer Office and Office of International Student Services will be on-hand to answer questions about transferring courses, applying for special partnership programs, Financial Aid and more. 

Transfer Shock: How to adjust to your new institution when you transfer

“Transfer Shock” is something commonly experienced by community college students when they transition to a four-year university. The learning curve of starting fresh at a new college can sometimes make junior-level students feel like freshmen all over again. Join us as we discuss ways to help you prepare for successful transition into your next institution.

How to Search for Scholarships

This workshop will cover scholarships available to transfer students, including our Dual Admission will be covered, in addition to educating students about how to conduct an independent search to find scholarship money.

Ready, Set, Transfer!
Wednesday, October 25 | 12:20-1:15 p.m.
Academic Building Room 2185

This workshop will cover the basics of transfer, including types of transfer agreements with other schools. Students will learn about steps they should be taking each semester to better prepare for transfer. Students will leave the workshop with a personalized transfer preparation timeline.

Are you a veteran and planning on transferring to complete a bachelor’s degree? Then this workshop is for you! You’ll hear about the transfer and transition steps unique to veterans. Including one-on-one transfer advising and early registration for the Spring 2018 semester.
