During Delaware County Community College’s Transfer Week, you’ll get answers to everything you need to know about the transfer process.
Meet with representatives from four-year colleges and universities.
Attend sessions on transferring for international students, LGBTQ students, and more.
Participate in the transfer fair and discover all of the options available to you.
Temple Day, October 9
10 a.m. – 1 p.m., Marple Campus
Student Lounge – Founders Hall (reserved as well as 2520)
Meet with representatives from the following Temple schools and colleges who will be able to answer your transfer questions: College of Liberal Arts, Fox School of Business, College of Education, College of Engineering, Klein College of Media & Communications, College of Public Health, College of Science & Technology, School of Sport, Tourism & Hospitality Management and the Office of Undergraduate Admissions
Refreshments will be served.
Transfer Walk-in and Advising for Veterans, October 9
11 a.m. – Noon, Marple Campus
Are you a veteran and planning on transferring to complete a bachelor’s degree? Then this workshop is for you! You’ll hear about the transfer and transition steps unique to veterans.
Includes one-on-one transfer advising for the Spring 2019 semester.
Drexel Online DCCC Alumni Event, October 9 6:30-8:30 p.m., Marple Campus
STEM Auditorium (Room 1403)
Join representatives from Drexel University’s Online programs who can discuss options regarding continuing your education and saving money through the Drexel and Delaware County Community College articulation. Light refreshments will be served.
How to Navigate the Selective School Admission Process, October 10
3-5 p.m., Marple Campus
Small Auditorium – Academic Building Lobby
Join Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) advisors, DCCC PTK alum, and admission representatives from selective admission schools as they discuss the application process. The session will include overview of scholarship opportunities available to PTK students. Light refreshments will be served.
Transfer For International Students – October 11
Workshop - 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m. – Room 2510 lounge
Meet & Greet – 1-2 p.m. – Student Lounge, Founders Hall if NO RAIN – (If rain, room is Academic Lobby)
This workshop will provide answers for International Students about the requirements needed to transfer to a four-year college or university in the United States. Staff from the Transfer Office and Office of International Student Services will be on-hand to answer questions about transferring courses, applying for special partnership programs, Financial Aid and more. After the workshop, meet Admissions officials who can answer questions for International students who are thinking of participating in transfer/Dual Admission programs.
