Important Notes:
- A grade of B or better is required in ENG 100 to meet the English composition requirement at Arcadia. Grades below a B will require a placement exam and possible additional course(s) in English.
- Students should select either BIO 110, CHE 110, ESS 110, PHY 110 or PHY 131
- DCCC and Arcadia University have a Core-to-Core Transfer Agreement. Students fulfilling DCCC's general education requirements for the A.A. or A.S. degrees automatically satisfy Arcadia's general education requirements with the exception of the Global Connection Experience and Reflection requirement.
- DCCC and Arcadia University also have a Guaranteed Transfer Agreement. Refer to the DCCC/Arcadia Agreement Fact Sheet & Guaranteed Transfer Intent Form available at DCCC to determine eligibility. Contact Katrina Xander at Arcadia University or a DCCC Counselor for more information.
- The course selections on page I of this guide are intended for students who plan to complete their A.S. degree Mathematics/Natural Science Associate in Science at DCCC and transfer to Arcadia University for a B.A. or B.S. degree in Mathematics. Students should contact Dr. Carlos Ortiz or Katrina Xander if they completed or plan to complete courses that are not included on this guide.
- Students interested in math/secondary education should take EDUl10 Introduction to Teaching as one of their open electives and English/American Literature as another.
- Students interested in Actuarial Science should take ECO210 Macroeconomic Principles and ECO220 Microeconomic Principles.
- Students interested in the Mathematics B.S. should take PHY13i University Physics I and P}IYl32 University Physics II.
- At least 50% of the requirements for the major must be completed at Arcadia University.
- The maximum number of transfer credits that Arcadia University will accept from DCCC is 75. A minimum grade of "C-" is required to transfer a course to Arcadia.
