Nursing Students

To apply for admission to the Nursing Program (RN), you should:

  • Attend an information session. To find out about upcoming sessions, visit the Admissions Events calendar.
  • Follow the instructions as outlined in the Nursing Entrance Requirements Packet- Fall 2025.
  • After attending an information session and completing the nursing pre-requisite requirements as listed in the nursing packet, petition for the program by visiting dccc.edu/apply. *You must have previously completed the general application for admission before you can submit your online petition.

Surgical Technology Students

If you would like to apply for admission to the Surgical Technology program, you must:

  • Attend an information session. To find out about upcoming sessions, see the Admissions Event calendar.
  • Follow the instructions as outlined in the Surgical Technology Entrance Requirements Packet – Fall 2025.
  • After attending an information session and completing any surgical technology pre-requisite requirements as listed in the surgical technolgy packet, petition for the program by visiting dccc.edu/apply. *You must have previously completed the general application for admission before you can submit your online petition.

Emergency Services – Paramedic Students

The College has instituted the following admissions criteria for individuals seeking enrollment in the Paramedic-Advanced Life Support program:

  • Either be a current Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification (Pennsylvania or National Registry) OR enroll in EMT class prior to or during the first semester in the program.
  • Current Healthcare Provider Level Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • Criminal background check
  • Clear child abuse background check
  • Take a medical physical examination and drug testing
  • Delaware County Community College placement test
  • Submit verification of current medical insurance
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

High School Students

The College’s High School Dual Enrollment Program gives students the opportunity to earn college credits while they’re still in high school at a fraction of the cost. For more information, visit dccc.edu/highschool

Adult Students

At DCCC we make it possible to return to the classroom with flexible scheduling, four locations and online courses. Whether you’re trying to move ahead in your career with a certificate program, begin one of the College’s degree programs or enrich your life through learning, the College has all the resources you need. Visiting Students

Students at other colleges can take classes here during fall, spring, summer and winter sessions as visiting students and transfer the credits back to their school. Go to dccc.edu/visiting for more information.

Students Transferring to DCCC

UPS Earn & Learn Program

Through the Earn and Learn Tuition Assistance Program, students who are part-time UPS employees can receive thousands of dollars to help with college expenses.
