Classes are smaller at DCCC, so you become more familiar with the professors. When professors know you, they are better able to help you, tell you about opportunities, and write you letters of recommendation.

The College’s Dual Enrollment Program provides eligible high school students the opportunity to earn college credits while they are still in high school at a fraction of the standard tuition rates.
The College offers different types of dual enrollment programs such as College in the High School, Open Dual Enrollment and Structured Pathways. Depending on high school participation, high school students may participate in College in the High School or a Structured Pathways program. However, any eligible high school student may participate in Open Dual Enrollment.
This checklist takes high school students through the steps to enroll as a Dual Enrollment student with the College.
Not sure where to start? Complete our form and someone from Admissions will be in touch.
If you wish to learn more about the different types of dual enrollment, visit the Open Dual Enrollment, College in the High School and Structured Pathways pages on the website.
Please note: registration for all college courses as a Dual Enrollment High School student depends on test scores and prerequisite requirements.
Please note (information for Structured Pathways): high school students looking to participate in a Structured Pathway will be able to apply beginning January 13, 2025. Not all high schools participate; please consult your high school.
