I have been married for 45 years. My wife was a High School A.P. Calculus teacher. We have 2 daughters. Every day I will give you 100% of myself to inspire you and get you to master Math. I hope you will see how beautiful, important, and exciting Math is. I will present material in a variety of ways to appeal to all of your senses and learning styles. If you ever need someone to talk to, I'll be here to listen. Remember that learning is a two-way street. That is, no matter how hard I try to teach, it's useless unless you are in class ready TO LEARN, and to DO THE WORK. I hope we can have an exciting semester together.

Theoretical Approach, Experience, and Temperament

While I am very technologically literate, and use technology to enhance my instruction, I still believe that "old fashioned teaching" with lecture and discussion are the BEST way to learn. I provide structured note taking guides, Powerpoint Presentations, Applets, a personal web site, and links to supplementary materials; these are all found on WebStudy. I am passionate about teaching!
