Theoretical Approach, Experience, and Temperament
Learning is the replacement of one relationship structure with another. Let’s talk about Newton’s Second Law. What really changes the student is when she can articulate how this law uncovers new ways to view what had once seemed so obvious. Even more importantly, these relationships may become models for understanding larger questions. For example mass and inertia might become models for social inertia.
