Academic Biography
My undergraduate and field experience, plus my graduate specialization and major area of scientific interest are Geochemistry, Mineralogy and Sedimentary Geology. In my graduate studies and early professional career and research I explored and implemented various methods of mathematical modeling such as Matrix Algebra, Linear Geo-Statistics, Sequence and Vector Analysis in investigating natural phenomena, relationships and estimating/quantifying natural resources. I am currently enrolled in a graduate program and working towards a second Master's degree in Applied Statistics at West Chester University. As a professional educator I believe in, I have been engaged by and I am constantly exploring and implementing the ideas and methods of STEM education. In my work with my students I am always looking for and trying to use, adapt and create various exploratory and authentic strategies for teaching Math and Science in their integrity and deep connections.
