The Carter Center – Tip Tuesday
Tip Tuesday (TT)
Tip Tuesday is brought to you by the Online Learning Team and The Carter Center Team.
What is Tip Tuesday? A Tip via a short video (under seven minutes) that shares key information, provides a walk-through/demo “how to,” or teaching practice for the online, blended, or face-to-face classroom in bite sized pieces.
Who is the intended audience? Tips will be shared with all college employees, but depending on the tip it may be geared more towards a specific audience (students, faculty, staff, or a combination). When the tip is shared, a brief highlight will be shared so you know what will be covered and who will want to watch it.
When will it be shared? Tips will be shared on the second Tuesday of the month. Tip Tuesdays will NOT be shared on Tuesdays when the College is closed.
Who will create each Tip Tuesday? While the Online Learning Team and Carter Center Team have partnered to bring you Tip Tuesday, we want to hear from our DCCC Community! Our topics include a policy change in a division, teaching tips, ways to retain students, technology tips to make a job easier, services our community members can offer to support students, workplace tips, or any other tip that might be beneficial to our colleagues.
