Scholarship Application

Scholarships are available for full and part time students, U.S. citizens and international students, those from sponsoring/non sponsoring districts, those pursuing specific majors or seeking specific career goals, and for students active within campus clubs and organizations. The deadline for applying for scholarships is April 15, 2019. To be eligible to apply, you must meet these basic criteria:

1. Enroll for classes by June 30 for the fall semester. 
2. Must have and maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average.
3. Complete a FAFSA application with the College’s Financial Aid Office or through the online process. For those students whose status makes them ineligible to submit a FAFSA, this stipulation is waived.

Required Essay

To complete your scholarship application, you must submit an essay about yourself. In 500 words or fewer, describe your educational and career goals. You are encouraged to mention any personal or academic challenges you have faced. You should also mention clubs, activities and athletics you may have participated in, opportunities you have created, and other things that interest you. The more you include in your essay, the better chance you have to being matched with a scholarship.

Please keep in mind that some scholarships have additional criteria such as maintaining higher GPAs, full-time status, financial need, etc. For a full list of scholarships and requirements, visit

  • You will be notified of award decisions by July 31, 2019.
  • Most financial awards will be split and credited in Fall 2019 and Spring 2020. Small awards are designated as fall only.
