2017 Scholarship Application

Deadline: Thursday, April 13, at 5 p.m.

Before you begin, all applicants must also file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to be considered for scholarships, unless ineligible to do so. The FAFSA is free and is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Preference will be given to students who have not earned a degree previously.

Please describe your academic and career goals. If you are engaged in community service and/or student life through clubs and organizations, please provide this information. Also, please feel free to share with the Scholarship Committee any special circumstances or challenges you have had to face.

FAQ: How long should my essay be? A general guide would be one typed page or less. However, if you feel that you absolutely need more space, then that is okay. Tell us your story that makes you especially deserving or unique in your best, most succinct way.

If you are unable to submit electronically, then mail or drop off the transcript to Enrollment Management Delaware County Community College, 901 South Media Line Rd., Media, PA 19063 or Room 3532 Founders Hall of the Marple Campus
  • Notification will be mailed by June 30, 2017. Financial Awards will be split and credited in Fall 2017 & Spring 2018 semesters.
