Medical Assistant Program
The goal of our Medical Assistant Program is “to prepare medical assistants who are competent in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains to enter the profession.”
Medical assistants work in the health care field as assistants to physicians and other professionals in a variety of ambulatory care settings. The responsibilities of a medical assistant include administrative and clinical duties. The College's program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education under recommendation of the Medical Assisting Education Review Board.
