Mission Statement

The Delaware County Community College Writing Center provides free, professional tutorial services to help students in college level courses improve their writing skills. We are committed to guiding students through all stages of the writing process with the goal of empowering them to become independent thinkers and writers.

Our Purpose

Helping students with all phases of their writing assignments.

How We Work

Drop in or make an appointment. We will sit down with you, one on one, review your assignment and look at what has been done so far. Then we will address your needs by asking questions and making suggestions on how to improve your writing.

Who We Are

Denis Davis M.Ed. has ten years of experience teaching English at DCCC and Widener.

Diane Biddle, M.A. English, has worked as a teacher and tutor for the past seven years at DCCC, Immaculata and Widener Universities.
