Enhances Safety Inspection (Category 4) (PDS 7003)
This course focuses on the rules, regulations and proper techniques required to perform Pennsylvania Enhanced Vehicle Safety Inspection. This is for branded titles (such as reconstructed, specially constructed, modified, flood, recovered theft, collectible vehicles and street rods). PennDOT will provide those interested in the new certification with a self study guide. The Enhanced Vehicle safety Inspection self-study training guide must be reviewed by the student and brought to class. The Guide can be obtained from www.dmv.state.pa.us. Type “enhanced vehicle safety inspection” into the search engine.

EEIC Recertification (PDS 7011)
All EEIC-certified mechanics are required to recertify every two years. PennDOT recommends taking the recertification course two months prior to the expiration date of their current certification. The recertification runs from the EEIC expiration date, not the date of the recertification course. Those failing the retest must retake the 16-hour Section 1 EEIC course.
NOTE: Students must register through the Malin Road Center. At that time all course material will be issued to the student. You must bring this material to class since no course material will be distributed in class. Students must register a minimum of seven days prior to the date of the
class. Only advance registrations will be accepted. (4 hrs.)
Prerequisite: Current EEIC certification and valid driver’s license.
Cost includes all fees and materials.
