Calling all writers and journalists! We invite you to join the College’s student newspaper, The Communitarian. The College’s student newspaper provides opportunities to hone your writing skills and gain practical experience in news gathering, editing, design and production.

The Communitarian

Your source for campus, local and national news, sports, entertainment options and opinion, the College’s student newspaper is written and produced by current and former students of Fundamentals of Journalism II (ENG131). It is published four times a semester and distributed by the Campus Life Office.

Interested in working on The Communitarian? You should first enroll in Fundamentals of Journalism I and then move on to Fundamentals of Journalism II. 

The newspaper is a class project for students in Fundamentals of Journalism II. Students who have completed both classes (I and II) are welcome back to join the senior staff.
