Counseling Services
At Delaware County Community College, we know it can be challenging to make important decisions about your education, your career and your life. Which major will help me get where I want to be? What if I want to begin my bachelor’s degree at the College and then transfer to a four-year school? Suppose I want to change careers. What if I’m having trouble balancing school with my other responsibilities?
We can help. The Career and Counseling Center offers a wide range of services to help you with academic, career and personal issues. Our resources include one-on-one sessions, career workshops, and printed and electronic materials.
We urge you to take advantage of these important resources, which can help you succeed in your studies and reach your educational and career goals.
How we can Serve you
Career Counseling
A Career Counselor can help you clarify your goals and make decisions about your career. Whether you need help choosing a major or planning a career change, our counselors can explain the College’s procedures, regulations and services. If you have a question and don't know where to turn, get informed––ask a counselor. Learn more >>
Personal Counseling
Sometimes family, work or other responsibilities can get in the way of your academic progress. At such times, it can help to talk to a counselor. The Career and Counseling Center has trained counselors available to help. If you’re looking for long-term counseling, we can refer you to outside counselors or therapists who can meet your needs.
