Students in the Natural Science, Engineering, and Science for Health Professions Programs earn Associate in Science degrees, and obtain backgrounds that enable them to transfer to four-year colleges and universities (usually as juniors) and major in areas such as biology, chemistry, earth & space science, physics, engineering, mathematics, physical therapy, occupational therapy, physician assistant, pharmacy, baccalaureate nursing, or one of the pre-medical programs.
Science instruction and laboratory work is also provided to the approximately 800 full- and part-time students majoring in allied health and nursing.
