The STEM Scholars Program

The STEM Complex will transform the main campus and strengthen efforts in the recruitment and retention of students. Bolstering the College’s effort to attract the best and brightest minds to STEM careers are numerous scholarships for students in relevant majors. Among the scholarship supporters are corporations, organizations, faculty, alumni and friends.

The STEM Scholars Program emphasizes the importance of STEM professions and ensures the competitiveness of individuals and businesses throughout the region. Because research shows that DCCC graduates remain in the area, donors experience a direct benefit to their industry or community.
Scholarships are contributed through the DCCC Educational Foundation and are recognized at the Foundation’s annual Dollars for Scholars Dinner, as well as in College publications and local newspapers. As the STEM initiatives progress at national, state and local levels, the College will look for opportunities to further engage scholarship donors in meaningful events and activities identified with the STEM movement.
