Exelon Power Plant Technology Program
In collaboration with Exelon Generation, a division of Exelon, Delaware County Community College has developed a Power Plant Technology Program to prepare students for employment as technicians in nuclear, fossil or renewable power generating facilities. The two-year program offers a unique opportunity to become part of a growing industry and to advance in a rewarding career.
Exelon is one of the nation’s largest electric utilities. Like other companies in the industry, Exelon is in an aggressive hiring mode and partnering with colleges and universities to recruit a pipeline of skilled workers. As a green source of energy, the nuclear industry in particular, has become more attractive and companies like Exelon are experiencing a “rejuvenation” and vying for talent.
