Do you want to be in the communication loop? Delaware County Community College would like to be able to bring you important information, in every way possible, in the event of an emergency. This would include the use of text messaging, if you give us your permission. To do this, we need your help to ensure we have your correct contact information. Please note:


Text messaging would only be used in the event of a true emergency and not for general notices such as inclement weather closings, delayed openings, etc.



Whether you opt in to receive emergency text messages or not, please provide the College with your correct contact information. Follow these easy steps:

  1. Log on to the College’s web site, www.dccc.edu
  2. Under "Online Services," click on "Your Student Records."
  3. After logging in, you will be greeted with a "Welcome Webpage". Click on the"COLLEGE EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION"option listed, which will take you to the "Personal Information" page.
  4. Click on "College Emergency Notification Information."
  5. Enter/update contact options as you desire. Please note: To receive emergency text messages, you must opt in by selecting "Yes" from the dropdown. The default is "No."
