The College awards certificates of proficiency and competency, both with varied requirements. Several College programs, including the police academy and plumbing apprenticeship, have selective criteria for admission. An associate or bachelor's degree with at least 21 credits in approved general education courses is required for admissions to the paralegal studies certificate program. The perioperative nursing certificate requires that students be registered nurses (RNs) prior to beginning the program. Additionally, any student may enroll in the accounting (professional) program, but a bachelor's degree is required to sit for the certified public accounting examination. See special application procedures.
