Computing Resources
Delaware County Community College offers a wealth of computing resources, at our Marple Campus and other locations, to support you in your studies.
Resources range from our academic computer network, which supports the entire College, to individual computers for student use. College staff members are also here to support and train you on how to use the available technology.
Here’s an overview of the College’s computing resources and where to find them:
Office of Information Technology
The Office of Information Technology (OIT) provides technical innovation and quality support for computer, network and telecommunication services for the entire Delaware County Community College community. OIT also works closely with other technology support areas, such as the Learning Centers, Faculty Technology Services, Online Learning and the Library.
OIT supports iMac computers and public-access kiosks in open areas on most College campuses. Please see the OIT website for locations for these computers...
The Learning Centers on the Marple Campus
You’ll find access to computing resources, as well as other academic support services, in the College's Learning Resource Centers. All centers provide tutoring, testing and other services. Highly skilled instructional assistants will teach you how to use technology efficiently and effectively so you can be successful in your courses.
Library Computing Resources
The College library on the Marple Campus provides state-of-the-art resources for learning and research. The library supports students and other visitors with a wireless network computing area that includes a large instructional lab as well as a study and research area where you can access network resources through your laptop or library-loaned computing equipment.
In addition, you can access the library's catalog, periodical databases and other resources in-house or from a remote location by using the library’s electronic homepage.
All of these library transactions are available to you with a valid College photo I.D. For more information, contact the library.
