WEDnetPA stands for Workforce and Economic Development Network of Pennsylvania, which offers qualified employers the opportunity to train new and existing employees through its Guaranteed Free Training (GFT) Program. The goal of the GFT program is to strengthen Pennsylvania's business environment by improving the skill level and productivity of its workers.

Industry Partnership Worker Training Grant
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has identified a need in the manufacturing sector for workers with cross-functional skills in Industrial Systems Technology (IST). The objective of the grant is to provide training in IST to workers currently employed at manufacturing firms in the Greater Philadelphia (5 county) area. The skills learned should be transferable, and credit toward a college degree in Industrial Systems Technology can be awarded for successful completion of course modules.
Delaware County Community College will provide training and materials for some or all of the course modules, depending on the needs of the individual companies. The courses will be delivered at the company or at a mutually agreeable site. The costs of instruction and materials are covered by the grant.
The curriculum is offered in a total of seven course:
- Industrial Electrical Systems-Basic (40 hours)
- Industrial Electrical Systems-Control Circuits (40 hours)
- Mechanical Systems (40 hours)
- Industrial Drives, Pumps and Process Control (40 hours)
- Fluid, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems (40 hours)
- Industrial Piping Systems (30 hours)
- Oil Burners and Steam Systems (30 hours)
