(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA)—Spend your summer seeking personal enlightenment or enrichment by taking one of Delaware County Community College’s non-credit courses. A wide variety of courses will be offered at the College’s Marple Campus (901 S. Media Line Road, Media, PA) from May to mid-August.

Launch a career in Life Coaching (5/23), helping others discover their strengths, set goals and achieve them. Or consider the field of bartending and learn recipes, preparation of drinks and bar setups for restaurant, home and catering applications in Introduction to Mixology (7/9). And whether you’re a seminar, conference, retreat, fundraiser or personal-event coordinator, Event Planning (5/29) will show you how to organize and pull it off without a hitch!

Explore ways to make your fiction or non-fiction come alive in Creative Writing (5/22), or relax in a beginner dance class, mastering the foxtrot, waltz and tango in Smooth Ballroom or the rumba, salsa and cha cha in Latin Rhythm (both 5/29). Or the Basics of Organic Gardening (6/7) may be more to your liking as you learn to understand the ecosystem, site a garden, plant seeds, transplant seedlings, mulch, compost, identify and control pests, and apply chemical-free fertilizers.

If you’ve dreamed of making music, consider joining Beginning Piano (5/21) for group instruction in our electronic piano lab. In Musical Theater—Cabaret (5/23) you will learn to select an appropriate singing repertoire from Pop, Broadway and/or Classical songs and develop skills to enrich your performance technique.
