Guidelines
Using the College Library
When using the Delaware County Community College Library students should follow the guidelines described in the College's Student Handbook under "Student Code of Conduct" which states that conduct “should reflect favorably on the student and the College.”
Students and all visitors who use the library should observe these guidelines:
- Food is not allowed in the library
- The only beverage allowed in the library is water
- Please put cell phones on silent mode while in the library – talking on cells phone while in the library is not allowed
- Do not leave backpacks, laptops and other valuables unattended
- Do not disturb the research and study of other library users
- Keep voices low to allow for quiet study
- Harassment of library staff will not be tolerated
- Do not damage library materials or property
- Do not abuse printing privileges - visitors are limited to printing 25 pages per visit
Individuals who fail to observe these guidelines will be asked to leave the library, may face disciplinary action and may be barred from campus.
