Library Shelfie Day: January 29th
Did you know that Wednesday, January 29th is #LibraryShelfie Day? I bet you didn’t. What’s a library shelfie, you ask? It’s a picture of a library bookshelf, of course! To celebrate the auspicious day, all this week the Learning Commons will be posting library shelfies of our staff members hanging out among the book shelves and enjoying favorite books from the collection. If you’re a Learning Commons regular, you’ll recognize our featured staff members. And if you’re new to the Learning Commons, get to know us by checking out our library shelfies!
We’re posting two library shelfies today—one for Monday and one for Tuesday.
Starting off with a bang, we’ve got Lori Marchetti, an information specialist in the Learning Commons. Lori’s pick for her Library Shelfie is The Seat of the Soul by Gary Zukav. Lori says: "I enjoyed reading this book because it reminds us that we need to spend more time living in the present moment." Lori’s pick is just one of our many books on spirituality and finding inner peace—great resources for juggling work, family, school, and life.
Thanks, Lori! Happy Library Shelfie Day!
