If you are injured while at work, Delaware County Community College has arranged for workers’ compensation benefits with OLD REPUBLIC INSURANCE COMPANY. All claims will be administered on behalf of Old Republic by School Claims Service, LLC. In accordance with the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Act, employees must treat with a physician or health care provider from the College’s panel of designated providers.
IF YOU’RE FACED WITH AN IMMEDIATE MEDICAL EMERGENCY, YOU MAY GO TO A HOSPITAL, PHYSICIAN, OR OTHER HEALTH CARE PROVIDER OF YOUR CHOICE. You must then seek subsequent treatment from a physician or other health care provider listed for at least the first 90 days from the date of your first treatment. All medical bills and medical reports should be forwarded directly to School Claims Service, LLC., PO Box 813, New Cumberland, PA 17070. Any questions about unpaid bills, employees/physicians can contact them directly at 866-402-6600.
