Delaware County Community College Teamwork Class 246 To Allow Media Access To Project “Arrive Alive” Interactive DUI Simulator

-The DCCC Teamwork Class 246 will allow local media an inside look into a DUI prevention program, with an interactive DUI simulation vehicle.

This program is managed by Professor Durkin and the fall and spring teamwork classes along with an array of sponsors including law enforcement, insurance, legal, and medical personnel, is specially designed to emphasize the danger associated with drinking and driving. The reality of driving under the influence can be experienced in an interactive driving simulator

WHO:
Associate Professor, Linda Durkin of the Business and Information Technology Department along with her Fall and Spring Teamwork Classes present their project “Arrive Alive.” The program is designed to address the problems associated with alcohol use and abuse.
WHAT:
A chance to drive a DUI simulated car and the ability to discuss with law enforcement, insurance, legal, and medical personnel the consequences associated with driving under the influence.
