This workshop will help Education majors obtain employment (part-time/full-time/summer positions) in the educational field. In this workshop you will learn about:
- Identifying appropriate jobs or institutions where you can apply to obtain a job in education. (Emphasis will be placed on jobs currently available).
- Obtaining and storing required Background clearances, as well as creating an ePortfolio for the state of PA.
- Creating effective resumes.
- Effective skills for how to interview for a job in education.
Participants in the workshop are STRONGLY encouraged to bring their laptops, tablets etc. so that you can add key websites to your browser and hopefully even begin applying for a job in the workshop.
