Learn strategies and resources for selecting paper topics and refining them into researchable questions. Topic selection, resources for background research, writing a research question, and developing a search strategy will be introduced. We will do hands-on activities to see these strategies and resources in action. You will also learn about related resources and services available to you through the College's Learning Commons.
Simulcast are available to be taken as an in-person seminar or an online webinar. The webinar version requires advance registration. Sign up at Presearch. Students who attend and complete three Library Services seminars or webinars will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement in Information Literacy. Also, participants have the opportunity to earn digital badges when attending Library Services workshops - more details available here.
