In our create and share online culture, it is important to have a basic understanding of copyright law and fair use. This workshop will go through the basics of copyright and how fair use applies to you as a member of an academic community. Specifically, the workshop will address misunderstandings and confusion and offer best practices. (Please note: the presenter is not a lawyer and is not providing any legal advice)
This webinar requires advance registration. Sign up at Fair Use. Students who attend and complete three Library Services seminars or webinars will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement in Information Literacy. Also, participants have the opportunity to earn digital badges when attending Library Services workshops - more details available here.
