Information literacy skills apply to more than just research assignments. In this seminar/webinar, we will discuss the importance of using relevant information sources, finding reliable information, synthesizing information from multiple sources, avoiding confirmation bias, the ethical use of information, and the value of lifelong learning as they relate to harvesting edible plants in nature. We will think of ways to apply information literacy to your interests and hobbies 'outside' of the classroom.
