I just registered for a distance learning class.
What do I do?
If you register before the late registration period will receive by mail a welcome letter from the Distance Learning Department. The same letter is posted online at www.dccc.edu/dl. Read this information carefully, as it will assist you in having a successful semester.
Is There an Orientation Meeting?
That depends on the course.
- Orientations for Elementary Spanish I & II online are mandatory. Students who do not attend these meetings will be dropped from the class.
- Some courses have optional orientation meetings. Attendance is strongly recommended. Students who participate tend be more successful than those who do not.
- Other courses do not have an orientation; however, feel free to contact your professor or the Distance Learning Department if you have questions or concerns.
