Distance Learning Faculty Training Program Evaluation Form

The new Distance Learning Training Program is a formal opportunity for DCCC faculty to learn how to incorporate advanced instructional technology into their courses.

Options for Faculty

    • Faculty who are ready to teach online can gear their efforts towards creating a web-based delivery method for their courses.
    • Faculty who are looking to preserve components of traditional classroom learning can focus on delivering a hybrid course. Within a hybrid course, students will have the opportunity to learn both within the traditional classroom as well as through the Internet.

Results

At the conclusion of the program faculty will:

    • Have a course that has been either completely or partially enhanced by technology.
    • Be prepared to pilot the course for release.
    • Intend to teach the enhanced course shortly thereafter.

Additional results will include:

    • Development of distance learning offerings that maintain a high level of quality, integrity, and practicality, that are consistent with Middle States Standards and Best Practice Methodologies.
    • Enable students of the community to effectively participate in educational opportunities at a distance, that will ultimately strengthen the mission of Delaware County Community College.
