The focus of the new Interactive Multimedia Certificate Program is to provide participants with an introduction to multimedia, the Web and their development tools. The Program also explores multimedia and Web applications in business and industry, education, research and development, marketing and entertainment. Participants are introduced to instructional design concepts, including a needs analysis, design goals, storyboarding and evaluation. Participants also learn the software applications required for each phase of media development while creating projects employing student-selected themes.
