IMM 202 - Multimedia Authoring

Course Description

This course focuses on effectively communicating multimedia content in an interactive format. Students utilize integrated software applications to produce and edit multimedia elements such as photographs, audio clips, and video segments for inclusion in a project. Students work in a team environment to design, develop and deploy original, interactive multimedia projects using authoring tools in a deadline-driven setting for a client. Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to: Organize and plan multimedia content for an interactive format. Apply knowledge of copyright laws and their application to multimedia elements.Utilize multimedia applications to produce and edit text, graphics, audio, video, and animation. Develop interactive multimedia projects using authoring tools. Test the interactive multimedia project and evaluate the results. Package the finished interactive multimedia project for deployment. Present the finished interactive multimedia project to the client.
