DPR 207 - Intro to Oracle:SQL

Course Description

This course introduces students to Oracle as a data base management system. Emphasis is on using SQL to query and update data in a database, create reports, and to embed SQL commands in a programming language. Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to: Discuss the conceptual and physical aspects of relational database architecture. Write and execute SQL statements. Use the SQL editor. Use single row and group functions. Create tables and views. Produce output using SQL *Plus. Control user access. Write small PL/SQL programs.
