Chester County Learner Services Locations

In Chester County, we offer both academic advising and counseling services in our Downingtown and Exton locations. Following is a list of what is available to you at each location, including office hours and directions.

Our Downingtown Learner Services location is in the heart of the campus and provides our students and prospective students with our full array of registration, advising and counseling services.

Or just stop by and pick up some of our helpful print materials, including our College catalog, program descriptions, financial aid information and applications, articulation agreements, four-year college catalogs, scholarship information, transfer guides, and career exploration materials and workshop series booklets.

We offer both Placement Testing and College Planning at our Exton Center. After submitting an application, you will be notified by mail of available placement test dates.

Academic advising is available by appointment by calling 610.450.6510. If you have already been assigned a faculty advisor, we encourage you to contact them for an appointment. If you have not been assigned an advisor or are unable to meet with your assigned advisor, Learner Services can assist you.

All DCCC counseling services are offered at Exton Center. Personal counseling is available by appointment or on a walk-in basis at selected times and career counseling is available by appointment only. Contact Learner Services at 610.450.6510 for an appointment. Students are encouraged to make an appointment for transfer counseling in their first semester of enrollment at the College.

The Exton Center sponsors visits from representatives of four-year colleges each semester, including Cabrini College, Chestnut Hill College, Immaculata University, Millersville University and West Chester University. Information and brochures are available to help you make an informed decision regarding an institution for possible transfer. Transfer agreements are available to help you prepare for these visits.
