The Chester County Hospital School of Nursing admitted its first class of students in 1894. For over 108 years the Hospital served as the hallmark of outstanding hospital-based nursing education in Chester County. In 1998, the Hospital and Delaware County Community College formed a partnership to provide increased accessibility to college-based nursing education for Chester County residents.
Prospective students from Chester County can apply for admission to the nursing program at the Chester County Hospital. Students can take all their nursing classes and clinical at Chester County Hospital and all their support courses at one of several Chester County locations.
