Personal and Informational Counseling
To whom is personal and informational counseling available?
All students currently enrolled at Delaware County Community College.
What is personal counseling?
When outside responsibilities conflict with academic progress, it often helps to talk about these issues with a counselor. For long-term counseling needs, the Center
also maintains an extensive community referral network.
What is informational counseling?
Counselors can explain DCCC procedures, regulations, and services. When you find yourself with a question and don't know where to turn, the Career Center is a good place to begin.
How do I go about receiving personal or informational counseling?
These services are available in the Career and Counseling Center on the Main Campus (Room 1325) on a walk- in basis. Counselors are available Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Personal and Informational counseling are also available at our Malin Road Campus (610-723-4000), Chester County campuses (Downingtown Campus 484-237-6200 and Exton Center 610-450-6500), and our Southeast Center (610-957-5700). Please call for scheduling information and availability.
