The Campus Life Office of Delaware County Community College invites you to
New Student Orientation
Welcome to Delaware County Community College! New Student Orientation is designed to help you make a successful transition to college life. Whether you are a new or returning student, orientation will give you the tools, advice and information that you will need to be successful in your years at Delaware County Community College. Each orientation session will expand on information that was discussed in college planning/advising session, as well as offer a variety of workshops that will help you accomplish your educational and personal goals. During orientation, you will have the opportunity to become familiar with college resources, policies and procedures, responsibilities of students, and tour the campus. In addition, you will meet with faculty, staff, and student leaders who will guide you through your transition.
Students who have participated in past orientations have stated
- “It gave me direction, showed me who to talk to, and how to take advantage of resources.”
- “I got a lot of information about things I didn’t know.”
- “I received lots of useful, helpful, and comprehensive information.”
