DCCC Bookstore Mission Statement
The Delaware County Community College Bookstore is the institutionally owned
on-campus provider of retail services for all of the Delaware County Community
College’s operations. We are committed to supplying the materials and resources
requisite for success in all of DCCC’s course offerings, with the highest level
of convenience and service to our customers. Our staff strives to be as knowledgeable
as possible of all College programs and developments, and will try to assist the
entire DCCC community in obtaining the materials they need with expedient, polite,
and convenient service. It is our obligation to maintain a clean, well-organized
marketplace staffed with trained, courteous, and helpful employees at any and all
positions where we are representing the College and any of its constituents. The
understanding with the overseeing institutions is that the bookstore has a financial
responsibility to generate a positive fiscal position while maintaining a high level
of service and functionality. The bookstore will also seek to develop markets in
convenience and collegiate soft goods to supplement sales, and enrich customer/College
relations.
Summary: The Delaware County Community College Bookstore is a retail service that
operates at a profit.
Vision: To be an indispensable resource through strategic partnerships with all
college constituencies.
