The Wong Moss Outstanding Alumni Award recognizes alumni for their professional, community and educational accomplishments. Recipients are named on a plaque outside the boardroom in Founders Hall. The Wong Moss Outstanding Alumni Award was established in 1990 by the late DCCC trustee Barbara Wong Moss and her son John, in honor of Wing Wong, her Chinese immigrant father who, as one of the first Asian's to graduate from the University of California, Berkeley with a technical degree, understood the enabling power of education.

40th Anniversary Recipient Wong Moss Outstanding Alumni Award
As a Principal and Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for McCoy Enterprises, Bob endorses the firm slogan, "Our Goal Is to Focus On Yours." In his personal life, his goal is to focus on kids. A board member of several organizations benefiting youngsters, Bob is the recipient of The Wong Moss Outstanding Alumni Award.
Bob is responsible for all sales and business development activities at McCoy Enterprises, a leading corporate employee training and consulting firm. In 2005 and 2006, the Wharton School of Business and the Philadelphia Business Journal named the company as one of the Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies in the Philadelphia Area.
He previously served as Executive Vice President-Sales and Marketing of EchoBurst Corporation, Dulles, Virginia, and Numerex Corporation, Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to joining Numerex, Bob was responsible for the successful turnaround of four business units and had a diverse and successful career at Bell Atlantic Corporation (now Verizon Corp.). He holds a B.S. in business administration from Widener University in addition to an A.S. in business administration from Delaware County Community College.
The father of three (see photo below), Bob favors organizations dealing with children and teens. He serves on the board of The Silver Springs-Martin Luther School, Plymouth Meeting, which offers a nurturing and healing environment for children dealing with past traumas and significant emotional and behavioral issues. He is a member of the board of the National Attention Deficient Disorder Association, previously served on the board of Mommy's Light Lives On Fund and was a founding director of Golden Cradle, a nationally-recognized adoption agency.
Bob also is an Advisory Board member of West Chester University's College of Education, Institute for Educational Excellence and Entrepreneurship (3E Institute), which supports and mentors entrepreneurial educators as they strive to engage community partners in delivering "real world" education to K-12 students.
In addition, Bob is an active member with the Greater Philadelphia Senior Executive Network Group (GPSEG), assisting executives in transition.
Edward Di Pilla '85
2005 Wong Moss Outstanding Alumni Award Recipient
When Edward Di Pilla graduated from high school, he knew he wanted to work in carpentry but he also knew he wanted to further his education. DCCC's Construction Technology program was the perfect fit. Taking classes at night with the encouragement and support of his older brother Rich, Ed worked during the day with his brother at company that fabricated displays and cabinetwork for medical trade shows.
In May 1990, on the basis of an order for ONE cabinet, Ed and Rich quit their jobs and Di Pilla Brothers Custom Casework was born. Housed the first year in his Rich's garage, with an office for a secretary in the basement, Di Pilla Brothers grossed $90,000. Today, Di Pilla Brothers' $1,100,000 business employs 10 full-time employees and 4 part-time employees, including Ed's two sons Joey, 16, and Chad, 14. The family-centered business maintains a client base of over 35 repeat commercial clients, including many of the Delaware and Chester Counties hospitals, and approximately 300 residential clients.
Ed and his wife Renee, also a DCCC alumnus, reside in Quarryville with their sons Joey and Chad.

Wong Moss Award co-founder John Moss called Nicholas Pacitti "a true American phenomenon as a spirited entrepreneur." Sterling Solutions, LLC is the newest of three businesses owned and operated by Nick, a seasoned supply chain executive. NLogistics, Inc. and FoodSafer, Inc., founded some 14 years ago, are successful companies based on his extensive industry and senior management experience in the food distribution sector with Kraft and Nestle, his firms are responsible for food chain management and ensuring the safe delivery and distribution of refrigerated food products, Nick has also consulted for over 50 companies, including major corporations such as La-Z-Boy, Pillsbury, Sherman-Williams, US Postal Service, and Wawa.
